Während des 2. Weltkrieges vermieteten die SBB 16 Loks des Typs C 5/6 an die Deutsche Reichsbahn. Sie wurden vorwiegend in Baden, Württemberg, Elsaß und in Bayern eingesetzt. Nach dem Krieg wurden einige auch nach Frankreich vermietet. Epoche II b um 1930
